Half a million families in St. Louis County are falling through the cracks! Reduced local funding for mental health services and state deficits and cutbacks have left thousands of children and families with nowhere to turn for help.

Putting Kids First wants to address the child abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and mental health issues that are impacting the lives of nearly half the children in our community.

By following the progressive lead of St. Charles, Lincoln and Jefferson Counties and the City of St. Louis and passing a sales tax initiative, the citizens of St. Louis County will be able to meet the needs of our children and youth.

A 1/4 cent increase in the St. Louis County sales tax rate (only one cent per four dollars spent!) will raise approximately $40 million to provide care that our children and youth so desperately need. Please support the effort to Put Kids First!
